Can I run the software on multiple computers?

Yes. You can install the software on two computers.  If it is for the same user, you can install the demo and then use your original license info to activate it.  If it is for a second user, you will need to buy an additional license.

How long does it take to get the software?

We ship the software US Priority, so you usually will receive the software within 2-3 days. You can have the software shipped overnight, but it will cost $20-22.

Do you have a MAC version of the software?

Not at this time. Unfortunately, the software that we use to develop our software does not allow us to create a MAC version. We have not tested it, but you may be able to run the software using a DOS emulator.  We have had one customer using Virtual PC by Connectix who was able to use our software on a MAC.

How does the networking feature work?

The networking feature, added with the 3.0 release, is intended to allow 2-5 users within the same office to share data.  The computers must be on a local area network for it work.  You install the software on each machine locally.  You then create a drive on the network where you would like to store your database.  Copy a database to this drive.  Next go to the Options screen in Event Magic Pro.  There is an option for changing the database location.  Click the Change button and select the database location on the network drive.  Do this for each computer.  The local version of Event Magic Pro will now be reading the data from the centrally located database.  Every user will see the same data and be updating the same database.  See the Help file in the software for more information or email support@frogwaresoftware.com.  In future releases we will allow you to assign consultants or assistants to each wedding and filter the displays based on the assignee.

Will the software run on Vista?

Yes.  However, until changes are made to the code to address security issues in Vista, after installation, right click on the Event Magic Pro shortcuts created by the installation, select properties, then the compatibility tab, and select the option to run this as an administrator.
