Notes for Wedding Magic 4.00.x Maintenance Release

The following document describes, to the best of our knowledge, 
the most important changes made as part of the 4.00.x maintenance 
release.  Please be sure to review the other documentation with 
this maintenance release.

Please be sure to back up your database before applying this 
maintenance release to be safe.  Should you ever re-install 
Wedding Magic 4.0 you will need to re-install this maintenance 
release.  You should save the update file to a 
floppy for safe keeping.

All fixes listed in previous versions are contained in this maintenance
release.

+Program Issues:

Issue:
Fixed problem with deleting items from gift registry.  Items looked like 
they were being deleted but they were not actually being deleted.

Issue:
Fixed backup problem where user would receive an error message that the file 
was in use by admin.

Issue:
In some cases you would receive an error when trying to 
print the Actual Worksheets report.

Release 4.00.14

+Program Issues:

Issue:
When you try to print envelopes with a custom postioning setting and
when rotating text, the text would shift on the envelope from name to
name.

Solution: 
This problem has been fixed!

Issue:
If you use the backup on exit, you would receive an error that you 
didn't have enough disk space.

Solution: 
This would happen if you had less than 100MB of disk space.  
This problem has been fixed!

+Program Issues:

Issue:
Some guests on the Invite screen do not show the 'And Guest' option. 

Solution: 
This problem has been fixed!  After running the update you will need
to update each record in the Family and Friends.  You can do this by
clicking on the first name in the list and then press the down arrow
to scroll down through the list.

Release 4.00.11

+Program Issues:

Issue:
When you try to print envelopes using custom positioning, the program would
lock up.

Solution: 
Fixed!

Issue:
If using French Windows, you would receive errors when trying to update quotes or 
when you try to check or uncheck vendor required field. 

Solution: 
This was a problem with using commas in place of the decimal in the numbers when
using an International currency format.  It has been fixed.  

Issue:
The guest list report was displaying casual names instead of formal names.  

Solution: 
This has been fixed.  After installing the update, you might have to go back to 
the Invite screen, un-check the invite box and the re-check the invite box.

Release 4.00.4

+Program Issues:
Issue:
When you go click on a category in the Wedding Professionals screen, you receive
Run Time 430 error - Class does not support automation or does not support
expected interface.

Solution: 
Fixed!


Issue:
When working in the vendor quote screen in the Wedding Professionals area, you get an 
error - Runtime error '-2147467259 [80004005]': Could not update; Currently locked.

Solution: 
This was happening if you edited a line item first, then deleted a line item.  This has 
been fixed.  


Issue:
When setting up your wedding (through the wizard), you receive the following error - 
An error has occurred while setting up your wedding: Operation is not allowed when the object is open.
Solution: 
This happened when you entered a wedding date less than one month from today's date.
This has been fixed.  


Issue:
While adding guests, you receive an unspecified error and the program freezes.  

Solution: 
This happens when you have just added a guest, entered children information, and then 
pressed the add button while still on the children tab.  This has been fixed.  


Issue:
Can't turn off Tip of the Day through the Tip of the Day window or through the Options screen.

Solution: 
This was a problem updating the registry.  The problem has been fixed.
