This
is typically caused because you have a generic printer
driver installed on your system, or on the server where
the printer is connected. You need to install the
correct printer driver on your local machine. The
specific instructions will vary with each printer.
In general, click Start / Settings / Printers. Right
click on your printer icon and click Properties.
There should be an Advanced tab or button which will take
you to a screen where you can update the printer driver.
Use the manufacturer's driver - not a Windows generic
driver. You can always download the latest driver
from the manufacturer's web site.
Before inserting a field, press return once to add a
carriage return to the top of the page. Then insert
your field.
Put
your cursor in the middle of the field name and then press
backspace.
First make sure tat you have invited the guests to the
party - using the Invite Family and Friends to Events.
If you have invited them, you can fix the problem by
un-inviting them and inviting them again. However,
if you have entered any gifts, rsvps, travel, or any other
information for the guest, you will not want to un-invite
them as this will delete all of their data. If you
have information entered for the guest, then go to the
Family and Friends screen and change something - erase it
and re-enter it (even one letter). This should
update the record properly and you should then see them on
your report.
Exit
the program and then restart it. This should
eliminate the error.
Yes.
You can install the software on two computers and then
by copying the database file, you can take your data
from one computer to another. You can also email the
data file back and forth if you are sharing the program
with a relative in another city. The database
file is called mylife!db.mdb and it is stored in the My
Life! directory/folder. Locate the file and copy it.
If
you ordered the software on-line, you will have to download
the demo onto the second computer, then email our tech
support department to receive a code for the second computer.
You will need to send the name and serial number of the
original order, and the code entry number and computer
id for the second computer.
Keep
in mind that you can not work on the software on both
computers at the same time (the system will not sync the
data up - it will overwrite one).
When
backing up the database I receive an error that the file
is already in use.
Exit
the program and then go back in and try it again.
